How Sumi protects your grocery data.
This Privacy Policy explains how Terra shpk handles information when you use Sumi: MyShopMate, including scans, ChopLog, goals, chat, subscriptions, and account features.

1. Who We Are
Sumi: MyShopMate is operated by Terra shpk. For privacy questions, account requests, or support, contact us at support@myshopmate.app.
2. What We Collect
We collect the information needed to operate the app, personalize grocery guidance, manage subscriptions, and keep Sumi reliable.
- Account data. Email address, Apple Sign in or Google Sign in identifiers, authentication status, app settings, and support messages.
- App usage. Scans, ChopLog entries, goals, preferences, allergies or sensitivities you provide, chat messages, feature use, and saved app activity.
- Technical data. Device type, operating system, app version, crash reports, diagnostics, and subscription or entitlement status from RevenueCat.
3. What We Don't Collect
- No location data. We do not collect precise location or background location.
- No contacts. We do not collect your address book or contact list.
- No data sales. We do not sell your personal data.
- No AI training on user data. We do not train AI models on user data, scans, chats, ChopLog entries, or goals.
4. How We Use Data
- Operate the app. Supabase helps us provide authentication, user records, saved settings, and app data.
- Power AI features. We use the OpenAI API to analyze scans and chat prompts. OpenAI does not train its models on Sumi API data.
- Manage subscriptions. RevenueCat helps us confirm trials, purchases, renewals, cancellations, and Sumi Pro access.
- Improve Sumi. We use anonymized and aggregated app information to understand crashes, reliability, and feature performance.
5. Third Party Services
We rely on trusted services to run Sumi. These services process data only for the purposes described here.

6. Your Rights
You can manage or request changes to your data at any time.
- Access. You can ask us what personal data we have associated with your account.
- Delete. You can delete your account in the app from You tab → Delete Account, or contact us for help.
- Export. You can request a copy of account data associated with your email.
- Opt out. You can opt out of optional communications or non-essential analytics where available.
7. Children's Privacy
Sumi is for users who are at least 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
