Terms for using Sumi: MyShopMate.

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Sumi: MyShopMate or the MyShopMate iOS app, you agree to these Terms. These Terms are an agreement between you and Terra shpk. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Sumi. If you are under 18, you may use Sumi only with approval from a parent or legal guardian.

3. Subscription

Sumi offers a free tier and a paid plan called Sumi Pro. Sumi Pro is $7.99/month after a 7-day free trial, unless the App Store shows a different offer at the time you subscribe.

• Auto-renewal. Sumi Pro renews automatically each month unless canceled before the renewal date shown by Apple.
• Cancellation. You can cancel through your iPhone Settings by opening your Apple ID subscriptions and selecting Sumi Pro.
• Refunds. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• RevenueCat. We use RevenueCat to confirm subscription status and unlock Sumi Pro access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Sumi or help anyone else misuse it. This includes:

• No reverse engineering, decompiling, copying, scraping, or attempting to bypass app security or usage limits.
• No bots, automated requests, unauthorized scripts, or other activity that overloads or interferes with the app.
• No harmful, abusive, deceptive, illegal, infringing, or privacy-violating content or use.

5. AI Disclaimer

Sumi uses AI to interpret product labels, grocery shelves, ingredients, nutrition panels, goals, and chat prompts. AI outputs are for informational purposes only.

6. Scan Accuracy

Scans and AI analysis may be incomplete, outdated, incorrect, or affected by lighting, image quality, packaging, shelf placement, or manufacturer changes. Always verify ingredients, allergens, nutrition facts, certifications, expiration dates, and suitability with the physical label before buying or consuming a product.

7. Intellectual Property

The Sumi character, Sumi: MyShopMate app, MyShopMate branding, software, design, content, and related intellectual property are owned by Terra shpk or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works from any part of the app unless we give written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Terra shpk and its owners, employees, contractors, partners, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, food-related injury, allergic reaction, purchase decisions, or reliance on app content arising from use of Sumi.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Albania, without regard to conflict of law principles.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information. By using Sumi, you also agree that we may process information as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will update the effective date and provide notice where required. Continued use of Sumi after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
